Marcus Boyd spent eleven years with the Simpsonville Fire Department. Shift work leaves daylight to fill, so in 2016 he bought a pressure washer and started doing driveways for neighbors between shifts.
Word traveled the way it does in Simpsonville. Two years later the side job needed a trailer. Two more and it needed a second rig and a full-time crew. Marcus hung up his helmet in 2021, and Palmetto ProWash has been his whole job ever since.
